From first click to future possibilities

Digital literacy is now as fundamental as reading and writing, yet many students still have limited access to computers and hands-on ICT learning. RISE-Net creates practical, inclusive education experiences that help students learn, apply their knowledge, gain recognition, and imagine new possibilities.

RISE-Net Computing Skills Challenge

Our first program was delivered in Benue State in February 2026. The maiden Computing Skills Challenge brought together 26 junior secondary students from 13 schools in Makurdi for a transparent computer-based test with instant results.

Students were assessed in computing fundamentals, digital communication, coding, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and responsible technology use.
